ROGER TRAPP is a well-known business journalist and corporate writer, with in-depth knowledge of management issues, enterprise and a variety of related topics. He was on the business staff of the Independent and Independent on Sunday for more than a decade and as part of his focus on enterprise took responsibility for the Independent on Sunday’s pioneering annual survey of fast-growing companies. He has also been a regular writer for a variety of magazines covering a range of subjects, but particularly management, finance and enterprise. His latest book ‘What you need to know about business’ (published by Capstone) was released at the beginning of this year. Roger also writes for Forbes on management issues.

JOHN OWRID led the creation of the UK’s first annual index of independent business culture, launched in 2008 in a venture with the research arm of WPP. Prior to that he was European President of the digital agency i-traffic and Managing Partner at Ogilvy Group. As CEO of Index B he  leads one of the first business research companies to use crowdsourcing approaches to generating business information and intelligence. His journalistic career started by accident, by freelancing for the Daily Telegraph in apartheid-era South Africa whilst on family business. Since then he has written and broadcasted on current affairs, business and travel for the Times, the Sunday Telegraph, Radio France International and marketing titles.
